Hey guys,
Sorry I haven’t been posting much lately. Family life has been a little on the rocky side and with the wedding coming up as well life is super stressful. You may have also noticed I haven’t commented on any blogs in the last 5 days or so (shock horror!!) it is because I cannot get time on the computer. I will be back in the game soon so don’t worry.
Just wanted to celebrate today that Google has done another page rank update and Smarter Wealth has aquired a pagerank of 2 which is pretty exciting. I don’t really know how pagerank is worked out exactly and I don’t know why everyone is so fussed on it, but getting a page rank of two is a pretty awesome achievement. So thanks to everyone who has helped make this blog what it is.
This is just a short post today to celebrate and I will be posting more regulary towards the end of the week.

Congrats, it is a stepping stone in the right direction. Meaning you are no longer part of the masses of 1’s and have joined the ranks of 2’s - next step to join the fewer 3’s and so forth.

I also achieved PR2 for my blog which is hardly months old and i havn’t anounced it publically yet (just writing some content to go) but surprisingly i got PR” may be caz i gave link to some forums when asking some help for blogging to sort somethings out

How do you check your Google pagerank? I wish it was clear what factors are taken into consideration when they determine it. Hope you get to 3 soon!

I just checked my blog (which is just a personal blog).
I’m at pr1 after about a month. I’m happy - I don’t really have a lot of content yet so it’s not a bad effort.

Congratulations man! I wonder how all of my sites did on PR. And damn, I should’ve gotten a few of my sites out there before the updates so I could get links to them and PR by now.

@jay hmm I noticed since last update google updates PR every month?.. I’ve seen alot of posts on dp that their PR got updated even before this update.. maybe google is doing every one month update now?.. I’m not sure about this though..

PR updating every month would be great! Think about it, you wouldn’t have to wait a quarter of the year to find out if what you were doing was working or the actually counter productive.
You could correct the course of action and get things moving back in the right direction.
Let’s hope that it is updated every month. How could we verify this? I guess hang out on the Google blog, huh?

@Freddie like i said I’m not sure but this could be true.. and google blog doesn’t say anything when they updated the pr though..
we just need to check our pr’s everymonth to verify if it’s true..

@ Dave - That is cool. It was just a thought or a hope I guess, but you are right. We just have to keep checking every month, which is not a problem for me since I am addicted to stats anyway! LOL!

Congrats for this!! I don’t really know much about this pr pr and when i checked my blog it is Pr 3 I can’t believe that this blog is only Pr 2.. But i am sure it can be higher than ever! I just cannot believe that my blog has Pr 3 with only like 12 comments in the entire blog… I posted like almost 80 posts with copy past hehehe^.^ I am still young to make my own stories i don’t want stress and any problem to my eyes because of the radiation.. And my english is not totally improved.. hehe.. that’s why when i look to your posts i am totally amazed.. i wonder how much time it takes for you to make one post hehehe..

Hey ryan congratulations for the page rank….but im littie confused with how it works bcoz i have seen a pr4 blog which has only 70 to 80 backlinks and average 50 visitors per day which is less than ur blog…still it has higher pr

I checked smarter wealth archieves and i saw the last post was in the month of March year 2008 and this post was made on September 
so it means… almost 7 months ^.^ if i am wrong please correct me guys
